2012 Passat TDI manual transmission

Hi all, re my 2012 Passat TDI manual transmission, I opted for the "fix" and compensation, but near as I can determine the fix may not even be coming for the manual tranny model. Anyone in here better updated? Happy with the car, hoping to keep it. I'm in Canada but am also interested in US status on the fix for the manual transmission? Am I going to be screwed if a deadline passes? Thanks in advance

There will not be a fix for your car. You can either do buyback or keep it without any competition.

Do the buyback and try to find a 2015 MT car.
