Recently I had an MIL come on with the diagnosis being (PO 671 Cylinder 1 Glow Plug Circuit). The place that made the diagnosis does not have a diesel mechanic that could make the repair. They suggested a Fleet Services type of place. When I contacted them, I was told they normally don't take walk-ins as their business is supplied by Companies with larger amounts of diesel vehicles but that they could work on my vehicle as it was diagnosed by a company that has an active account (I'm guessing they want the business).

After reading the section titled "Glow Plugs: 101" I have a good idea as to what the problem is. Unfortunately, I am not the most tecnically savy individual. While I could probably figure it out, I would prefer having someone who knew what they were doing help/show me so that I can do it later should it hapen again.

Long story short, I am sure that they could do a fine job with the car but being new to the diesel world, I am looking for someone I can trust. I don't mind taking it to the dealership but I always try to avoid them as they seem to jack up the price.

If anyone knows of a good diesel mechanic or is in the Indianapolis area and could help me out, please let me know. Feel free to email me with any ideas. Any help would be appreciated!
