1996 B4B dome light does not work when door open but rear lights do

OPen drivers door and the back two light come on but no the dome light Yet you can turn the dome light on by the swith by the sunroof. I assume it is the same bulb so it must be a broken connection goint to their?

Any one point me in a direction to look? Thanks

if new bulb does not work
get volt meter
use it
report back

There are 2 bulbs in there. If both work, and the switch is in the proper position, I’d start at the pin switch. Been a while, but I believe the driver door has several leads going in/out, at the pins switch

Ditto what Todd said, I think the pin switches at the door are sketchy when they get old, especially if the rubber boots are bad or gone.
