test fitted the front brakes today... and I need some different hardware to bolt
the calipers to the hubs...
the original brackets is threaded and sits on the outsite...
the Porsche caliper will sit on the inside and as both the hub and caliper
don't have threads... it will need a bolt and nut....

@Ruben
what bolts and nuts did you use?

Regular M14 with nylon 'locking'nuts, also used a 0.5mm steel washer between the bolt and the caliper, and a normal self locking washer between the nut and hub

it all fits together perfectly...

only the bleeders are a pain.. couldn't get them to close off properly
because of the helicoils that taper inward toward the bottom...
Johan has got a fix which he will do tomorrow...

new pressureplate...

adjusting the chip will follow on a later date...

Those look amazing! I assume your wheels actually fit over them axially with your current wheel offset?
Couldn't you already lock up the wheels with the standard brakes?

maybe you should try a Bilstein B14 or even a B16, remeber that the B14 is only height adustable and B16 and damping and height.

Just bought the KW V1's for my B5 Wagon :)
The INOX stainless ones. £800 delivered. Can;t wait to get them on.
They are not supposed to be too firm.
40-70mm drop.
Worth going for stainless ones I'd say for a daily driver. (About £150 more than standard.)
Will let you know how i get on! Fitting them over christmas with new front arms/bushes, rear bushes and front top mounts.
How heavy is the Audi out of interest? Is it 4wd?

IMHO this rotor s/b installed on the LF. The rotor vanes direction shown on pics, scoops in air. If rotor installs on the LF it should pump out heat out of the rotor. Unless the rotors are handed parts and specific directions by Ate

Sweet looking curves, did he limit torque intentionally? It looks like more can be had between 2000 and 3400 if the torque characteristics are anything like conventional tdi torque curves - tall peak and straight line slope downward.

I have sent an email to the ATE hotline about this..
will keep you guys posted...

yes it is limited, no need to make any more torque at low revs...

I have S4 B7 brakes front and rear ( 345mm/300mm) on my B6 quattro, it's all you can wish for dayli use. Alldought I consider to change my front with porsche boxter 2-piston calipers but first torsen T3 from RS4, GTB2260VK and some +100% HF Firad's...
