Eurovan Petrol convert to Diesel AAB

Hi everyone,

I'm new in the forum,

Because i've reed over several mechanical forums,
there is a lot of peoples with good experience in the field
at TDI CLUB, but i didn't find up to now what i'm looking for.

I actually would like to install a diesel engine 5Cyl. 2.4L with
manual 5 speeds gears into my VW Eurovan 5Cyl Petrol Automatic Gearbox.

Is anybody out there who can help me out with my project,
i'm having already the diesel engine code (AAB) assembled
with his original manual 5 speeds gearbox.

I'need advises with the wiring (GlowPlugs, Dashboard and vacuum stuff)

I've quite good knowledge in mechanic, but I've always some
extra room, in order to learn more new stuff.

If someone can be kind to help me out with some good advises.

Get the Bentley manual, and find a 2.4 donor vehicle (these were sold in Canada) at a junkyard, or far more likely at a dealer, repair shop, or one of the several fleets that used these vehicles.

Bentley will answer all of your questions, and donor vehicle will provide all of the necessary parts for the right price.

Yes. It's a book, and a CD manual (I suspect he refers to this version - it is more in depth, usually, than the book), and I think there's web access to the CD version.

Fast Forward specializes in Vanagon TDI conversions, but probably have some experience with Eurovan conversions as well.
