Having a 2005 Transporter (T5) 4Motion with the 130bhp engine.
Loving that thing,a perfect ride for me as I drive about 30-50k a year in varying scandinavian conditions.
Now just started thinking how nice it would be if that thingy would have a little bit extra ooomph in it.
There is some local companies that reprogram the ecu and they cost around 500-800€ or something and I would get out something like 170bph to 195bhp.
And being a tuning-noob,my only concern is how it affects the longevity of the engine and/or the 4wd components as I am planning to keep the van for a long time. The car would not be raced or hammered.
Thanks in advance!
