tach signal from AFN into a car that has CAN tach

Other thread shows my swap but one thing I have not been able to sort out is the tach.

Its an AFN ecu and harness in a 2001.5 audi S4 that had a CAN tach.


anyone have any thoughts on how to get this to work. As far as i have read and can tell the AFN was a non CAN tach signal.

Go to 17-instrumnets , then go to 10-adaptation Channel 60,
Change value to 00000 , for immobilizer 2.
This should bring your tach working.

i bet i spent 10+ hours reading diagrams and audi s4 forums trying to figure this out... thanks for the help, its working.
