You need a lot more than 270.bhp to be doing 107mph @ 401m
................. his car is built for drag racing. Pretty simple to not smoke on the road.... just don't put full throttle?Great thread, sort of.
Skillturbo's, kudo's on your power level but your smoke free tune is laughable at best. If you drove that around here, you'd be neck punched for being a dick. I am surprised the Police haven't pulled you over or some enviro **** hasn't made you suck on your own tail pipe.
We are talking about crank power.Im abit lost with the HP and BHP quotes as the pd130 is 130HP at the crank. So are these 230hp 270hp figures crank or wheel/load based. I ask this because my tuned pd130 with 1.5 bar , 35 degrees exhaust fmic, gives me 150bhp, 1.85 bar with 27/38 gtb2260vk gives me 190bhp. 230bhp maybe with boost like 2.2 bar? 42degrees.... but 60 degrees? Dont you come to a point where you are injection during the exhaust stroke? I just feel that insane durations 45 and above dont make sense mechanically. Im trying to get my mind around all this.
Hah, looks whos back with more salty worthless dribble comments lacking any reasonable diesel knowledgeMore fuel is more smoke thats why we tune diesels.
Apparently.
More worthless dribble, did you forget exit speeds depend on the weight of the car? How exactly did you calculate that you need "a lot more than 270bhp"? What experience is this based on? What weight vehical are you talking about? 2000kg???????You need a lot more than 270.bhp to be doing 107mph @ 401m
Not really. Last time I checked Bobby Singhs 12.1 pass there was no smoke. Yet it being a full street car weighing excess of 1.8 metric tonnes.................. his car is built for drag racing. Pretty simple to not smoke on the road.... just don't put full throttle?
Every high power TDI you find on the drag strip which is worth something produces considerable smoke....

Yes car has high egts
Durations it's my settings and don't need your opinion if it's good or not.
Capable of more than 270bhp on std injectors. YES just need to know how to do it...
Smoke levels acceptable??? What is the point of having a diesel car not making smoke and trying to get lots of power out if it???
My car on streets doesn't make a bit of smoke unless you want.
MAHA dyno result coming soon and then want to see what crap will come out lol
What is the argument behind smoke is an indication of power? Is it just that you dont need to worry about underfueling? i.e. you are always providing enough and more fuel for the air you have. In other words with overfueling you cannot lose power and with underfueling you can?
Hi Rob, in practice does lambda 1,05 have more power than 1,15? theoretical says 1,3 is ideal. The difference between no smoke and a lot of smoke is, lets say when injection atomisation and window are good. Less than 10% at high rpm. Difference between lambda 1.05 and 1.15. In a normal case in a modern DI diesel engine during steady state WOT you are almost always egt limited past 4k rpm
Are you on drugs?Hi Rob, in practice does lambda 1,05 have more power than 1,15? theoretical says 1,3 is ideal.
bedankt. I think the 1,3 came from reading about stock settings; in that case probably to save dpf.Are you on drugs?
Max power is obviously near lambda 1. 1.3 is is definitely not ideal for power.
when you will move from tractor industry to compound?ARL
2060vklr
2.35bar
80% nozzles
Ported head
32deg duration
800deg egt - 5th gear wot
300hp
Gtb2060vklr is far from tractor industry parafenalia ! It’s one of the most advanced small frame turbochargers available for automotive industry ! I think you should refrain from trolling the forum, all I have seen in your posts is my di**k is bigger than yours kinda talk !when you will move from tractor industry to compound?
Eastern European dyno seem to be the place to go for figures. In the old days we needed 2.4 bar and ported head for 300 hp with r783
I can't agree with this one...Eastern European dyno seem to be the place to go for figures.
May ship my car there
Dont know who's got 303 on stock pump , they have a pump bigger than your 505hp one lol
About the hp..no comment.
Who is talking about dio? There are actually better tuners here
And yet that tuner did 12.0 and 11.8 on 402m.
Dont piss against the wind, you might get the taste of it.
I repeat myself, LOL as much as you want, but give us something else than optimistic dyno runs and sh:t.
And please no youtube videos as proof of performance. LOL
And please change the disc, we've had enough of your head chocking and lambda 1.
Mac I don't understand what you trying to say. Obviously this 505hp comment is directed towards me.Dont know who's got 303 on stock pump , they have a pump bigger than your 505hp one lol
