I know for a gasser engine you can run a bit of E-20 and it will clean out carbon from valves and such. Is there anything out there that will do the same in a diesel? To keed the EGR/Turbo and the like clean?

In addition you can use some of the various additives on the market (Standyne, PowerService, etc.) to help minimize build-up. Also, BioD can be used (VWoA limits the mixture to B5 for warranty purposes) as an additive.

Yeah, anybody knows about a Turbo cleaner available on the market, I saw something (foam type) sold in England that you shoot at the turbo and let it sit for a while then it would clean carbon deposits. Any one used something similar in the US or Canada?
