98 golf vs. 99.5 golf

Does anyone know if a roof rack for a 98 golf will fit a 99.5?

If anything, all you would need to change is the "Fit Kit". Of course, it depends on what type of rack you're talking about. I'm thinking of Yakima or Thule.

BTW, I got a Yakima rack for Christmas! It has the new Yakima fairing too, which is more sleek. Very cool!
