I've been tuned for the last 6,500 miles, for the first time the car tossed a CEL light. I scanned the car & it had 4 hard codes. Torque Difference limit exceeded - intermintent - but for all four cylinders. Looking at the log it looks like different cylinders had it happen more than others & at different mileage. Car still runs great & pulls hard.

Shortly after the car was tuned I was checking the readiness and noticed I had 2 pending codes (forget what cylinders, but 2 of these codes) for this same thing. I cleared them & never scanned the car again, so I don't know how long or if at all these were pending. When I google these codes or look them up with ROSS-TECH it simply says a dirty injector or low compression. Just weird to see it across the board on every cylinder. Could it be an issue with the glow plugs as they monitor cylinder pressure? What would cause this & should I worry? I've gone 100+ miles since clearing all codes and none have returned. Fuel filter was done 2,000 miles ago. Could bad fuel do it? (Light came on 15 minutes after fueling up at a hole in the wall diesel station, I was low & HAD to stop)

P1006 showed up as a pending code when scanned today 300 miles later. Any Ideas???

FYI - Car still runs perfect with no loss in MPG's.

Check engine light came back on today. Was only out for about 400 miles, today drove to RI with the family so I wasn't driving hard:

P1005
P1006
P1007 (both hard & pending).

I've looked all over google, searched & read every thread on this forum about those codes & have found nothing.

What blocks in VCDS can I monitor the cylinders for any misfire data? (But wouldn't that give me a misfire code as well?)

Help!!

Sorry to resurrect the thread from 4 years ago, but did you ever find a solution or reason for all the fault codes? I picked up the "fixed" 2013 TDI about a year ago, tuned it with Malone and maybe a month later, these fault codes started popping up and clearing by themselves.

Just wondering if you ever came across anything I’m having same issue if anyone here can help me or give me some insight! I just did a stage 2 Malone tune on my 2012 “fixed” jetta 2 days ago and drove approximately 300km with no issues but last night on my way home it threw and engine code so I plugged in my reader and got multiple codes for p1004,p1005,p1006,p1007 did a little Research and seems to be a cylinder torque difference code for each cylinder! Wondering if this may have something to do with the tune! Cleared codes and drove to work this morning without popping back up just want to know if anyone else has possibly experienced something like this!
