I have an iPhone. What is the consensus pick for iPhones in an OBD II app? I have the free version of OBD Doctor, would prefer not to purchase the full version if it's not woth the $$. I also have Dashcommand, but am having a hard time getting it to run and I noticed there have been no software updates in years.

I'm a little spoiled as I have an EZ Lynk system with GDP tunes on my 2011 F350 6.7. EZ Lynk offers great monitoring and a top interface with the phone.

I already have an Android tablet with Torque and it works fine. I just don't want to haul the tablet around all the time.

Any suggestions for my TDI would be appreciated. I have a 2015 Passat TDI SE.

Buy a cheap used Android phone and just leave it in the car for Torque use. That is one use of my old Nexus4. Or just set it up for a gauge cluster. You already have Torque up and running so it should be real easy.
