I keep getting alarm at my license plate lights are out. I replace both bulbs but the light still comes on any thoughts?

I keep getting a light telling me my right reverse light is out, but it isn't... I have yet to go into the shop and see what they say.

Maybe water someone got in and corroded the contacts at the harness/connector.

Are you using standard or LED bulbs?

Sometimes you need to clear the DTC in the CE module (or body module, whichever the car has). No idea why, but sometimes they are a little persnickity about that.

I noticed I'd get an error for reverse light out only when I put the car in reverse (bulb was popped out) the BCM didn't do an auto check every time the car started.

I got it covered under warranty, I had a bad connector.
