Seeing that we have no separate Scangauge forum, I thought this might be the more appropriate thread.
Searching the web, I found a few settings to create new Xgauges.

Two are not quite accurate. This is what I found.

Boost pressure
TXD: 07DF0170
RXF: 054186700000
RXD: 3810 (4810 for 2015 model year)
MTH: 00910BB8FF64
Name: BST

At sea level, the last four digits of MTH have to be adjusted if not at sea level.
Does someone know which way to adjust FF64 and to what, at 700' above sea level?

The MAP (Boost) gauge is not working in the 2015, but it did in my former 2002 Jetta. I had a boost gauge in my Jetta and it would go to no higher than 25 lb.
The passat under heavy acceleration barely hits 18 lb.

Horsepower (Diesel)
TXD: 00
RXF: 400080000000
RXD: 0000
MTH: 000A024000
Name: HPR

Running at highway speeds it barely shows 20HP.
Judging by the boost adjustment, I'm assuming it might be the MTH setting of 4000 ?
Any idea what to change for higher reading.

Thanks for any help offered.

I checked the water temp in the Scangauge which reads 195 deg F, my cars temp gauge reads 90 deg C. So I know that the Scangauge can read the correct values and responds to values from my car.

Played around with the last four digits in the BOOST gauge.
Changed them up and down and everywhere in between.
The best I can get is changing the FF64 by setting the last 4 digits to FF70 and I get a display of 0.4 boost pressure at rest, which may be OK since I live at about 700' above sea level. Not having much luck with the HP, changed the last 4 digits up and down and not much better.

Hi Jetta_pilot, for boost pressure in psi my old table (see my signature) says
'BP2 70 05418670 4810 00910C80FF6D psi actual boost '.
That means
TXD 07DF0170
RXF 05418670
RXD 4810
MTH 00910C80FF6D

Maybe this works?
Horse power is some scangauge preconfigured computed value; I never double-checked those. You could try multiplying torque with RPM, but you'd need to get the units right.

Thx Diesl

I'll give that a try, drop four zeros of RXF and change MTH to FF6D and see what happens.

OK, I removed the 4 zeros and changed to FF6D and was still getting a 0.1 reading. Decided to change the FF6D to FF6C and that gave me a 0.0 reading at rest, voila !!!:)

So now for a 2015 Passat TDI this would be the setting on the Scangauge for the Boost pressure gauge:

Boost pressure
TXD: 07DF0170
RXF: 05418670
RXD: 4810
MTH: 00910BB8FF6C
Name: BST

Super that you got it to work.
Just a nitpicking comment: 0.1 psi is a pretty small pressure difference, well within the range of normal atmospheric fluctuations (high pressure area vs. low-pressure area). So if you want to keep the offset at 0.0, you might have to adjust the formula once in a while.

Yup... when it rains or the sun comes out for a couple days it will bobble at least a couple 10ths of a PSI.

I once got in my car on a sunny afternoon, turned the key to ON, and told my wife "looks like rain". She thought I was nuts... but sure enough... it did. :) :)
