Someone posted a similar arrangement a while ago.
A word of caution. Diesel electric locmotive builders learned ages ago to not use copper or brass tubing as these would fail from vibrations. Note that those diesel engines are bolted and welded down, no engine mounts.
A copper clad steel tube is used. It used to be called Bundy Weld tubing. It looks like copper when you look at it, but is lighter and stronger. And it costs more than an all copper pipe. So its use is not a cost avoidance issue.
Now envision your diesel engine vibrating in its rubber mounts, and some kind of dense valve or fitting hanging off a copper pipe cantilever. If that breaks, then the consequences are quite severe.
