Are those anything to worry about? Do I even have a comfort system? (2003 jetta wagon GLS)

Also, would the fact that my steering wheel was turned all the way to the left after parallel parking be a cause of the steering angle error?

Yes you have comfort system ,it is Address 46: Central Conv.
Just reset codes and see if it is come back. If it does then you have can bus problem .But it could be nothing.

Thanks for the response, I'll have to get back to a VAG-COM to clear and recheck soon. Can anyone comment on the steering wheel sensor? Could having the steering wheel turned all the way to the left while scanning cause something like that?

The common failure point appears to be in the instrument cluster data bus connection.

The steering angle sensor is connected to ABS, which reported no fault, so the sensor should be OK.

At this point the best thing to do was already suggested - clear the fault memories affected, and see if it complains again.

Do check your coolant level sensor just for kicks. Make sure there's no pink residue on or around the contacts.

Why did you mention the coolant level sensor? I had been getting a code for that (P0118) occasionally. Would that be related to any of these items?

P0118 would be the coolant temperature sensor. I just had that code on my SGII because I had it disconnected while checking voltage at the GP harness.
