IBW's average over the last 96K miles is 45 MPG flat. I usually drive 75-85 on the highway, don't hesitate to use the power (twice stock for most of that, around 1.5 stock now), sit in a fair amount of traffic. I suspect a GTI in similar conditions would deliver mid-20s.

yes you are right but if we take 100% of members and calculate mpg, I guarantee you that that will fall between 44-50, I have done it too 50mpgs but would that be your average so far in your TDI??? unless you stay only on a hwy everyday on a loooong commute
Lifetime average is 46 MPG. My short trips, and no place to use the frost heater in the winter, means the past few years have decreased the annual mileage average to 43 MPG.

215hp / 415nm

I know its not precise, but i can go 150 kmh on the highway and Computer shows 20 km/l or around 5l/100km.

Because of my low kerb weight, short gearing and low end torque, I easyli follow cars with 250-280 hp.

A 210hp TFSI will fall behibd several lenghts
