I hope someone can give me a positive answer. I just did my timing belt on my car. When I completed the job,I turned the crank by hand two times and noticed cam pin wont go back in. Now in hind site, I noticed my crank lock tool is a bad tool, with the mark two teeth to the right of where it should be.Did I bend any valves?Im going to realign to where it should be, Im just worried if I may have bent valves. I didnt feel any contact when I hand turned the engine over twice.

If you turned it over by hand and didn't feel abnormal resistance other than compression, you didn't bend any valves.
