Clock Amazingly Accurate

I had noticed the clock on my 2013 seemed pretty accurate after almost 2 months of ownership. So I compared it to my atomic clock and it was right on the money. I've never seen a car have a clock this accurate, so wondered if it was perhaps tied into the GPS?

It really is a very good clock. I love how the clock responds when you change the setting on the MFI. Of course I had to play around with it.

I traded in a 2012 Jeep whose clock gained about a minute a week. It was maddening.

God bless German punctuality and precision.

Ours is also very very accurate. I have to wonder if it does radio updates somehow.

GPS update. The timing system of our GPS system is incredibly accurate. It is used by many time critical applications such as the mobile phone network to hand off calls from tower to tower.

Do the non-nav models still have GPS?

That's what I was wondering... our car doesn't have Nav.
