I have two SEL TDI's a 2012 and a 2013. Will one CD work on both cars? Or is it VIN specific? Any other options that folks are using to get updated that does not cost $200. Thanks!

The DVD is not VIN specific. But I know of now legitimate place to get it anymore without paying the $200.

Try hitting up someone who got it before and did it. They will have the discs still maybe.

If I can use it on two cars the cost is easier to accept. Plus I could resell it and get some of my $ back.
If anyone has done this please let me know. I would be willing to share the cost.
What are you saying here? You found it somewhere for UNDER $200? If so, share the info....

The disc will work in as many 510's as you can put it in. It does not get locked after its first use like the updates for the 315's.
Also look in the 510 info thread post 333 I told you exactly where to get it.

What I'm saying is there is no place to get it for under $200 that isn't illegal.

Ebay is your friend. Paid the $28 asked and have update four seperate cars. I could not be happier with the results or the price
