- 98 Jetta TDI AHU 1.9L (944 TDI swap in progress) I moved so now i got nothing but an AHU in a garage on a pallet.
you need to put the timing to TDC and check things line up. a good looking belt can have missing teeth where you cant see or things can jump around.I know this is an old thread, but I'm dealing with a similar episode. Mines. 2011 golf TDI dsg. Died while idling and can't budge crank. Timing belt looks good. Pulled transmission. I need to pull dual mass clutch and then engine if it's still locked up
its a completely different engine you have so i suggest starting a new thread in your cars forum area.
