Interior LED lights

Has anyone changed out the interior reading light bulbs to LED? My previous car was a 2012 Golf R and I got the DeAutokey LED bulb package but the color on the dome lights was less than stellar. My assumption is that it was due to the frosted nature of the housing. My wife's 2018 Tiguan has interior LED's and they look absolutely stunning.

What ever you do don't go OEM, the OEM LED for the interior are rather dim and leave much to be desired, make up light especially.

I bought a white set and blue set off eBay for my GSW- only one it didn't have was the one for the rear hatch. I put some blue ones in and used the white ones for the visors- pretty bright, and both sets cost around $30...

OEM LED on mine look good on mine. A little bit too much on the blue side for my taste but luminosity is acceptable.

You have the SEL model, it came with LED's? I don't mind the blue.

Yep it came with.

I thought LED interior was standard. The ones in my SE seem OK.
