Hi All-

I'm trying to diagnose some issues with my 2001 Golf and have decided to remove and clean the turbo to see if that elevates my issues (without going into too much detail, smoke on startup and acceleration, hard/failure to start in the cold and at high altitude, rare limp mode and overboost code. I have ruled out injectors, vaccum lines, all glow plug components and have moved on to sticky turbo or oil blow by via turbo bearing).

Anywho, before removing the turbo I ran a couple VCSD logs today, but I need help interpreting the results. Its clear the turbo is overboosting briefly and drawing more air than specified (MAF), then dropping low, then running high again (more apparent in second log where I held the rpms at 4000 for a few seconds). However, this is my first time using the log function and I cant find an example of what a healthy boost log and normal deviation looks like.

Can someone please have a look and let me know how the data translates into real world usage (i.e. does it look normalish, is something very off, does it show something I'm missing, etc.)

Thanks!
