Malone stage .5 tune

Hey all,

I'm looking to get a tune for my 2011 Audi A3 but I don't necessarily want to go balls out. Is the stage .5 tune worth it or is getting the DSG tune a must? It's not a huge price difference between the stages once I decide to get the DSG done, so I'll definitely get a stage 2 at that point. But I haven't seen too many reviews on just the ECU tune.

Anyone done or know of stage .5 tunes done and how is it? Thanks!

Get the dsg tune first by itself if anything, it's worth it, the trans works soooo much nicer after.

I know I couldn't believe how smooth it shifts now... A lot better then stock not so jerky

So, it seems like I shouldn't even bother with the stage .5 tune and just save up for the stage 2 with dsg, correct?

You won't regret it... And then you will be hooked and want more

garrinton, Go with the Stage II. You'll pick up more economy, very noticeable performance, and your DSG will run better then new.

I don't believe the OP is planning to do deletes at this point.

Yeah, no dpf delete. New York frowns on that kind of stuff.

Any DPF or emission delete is only if the car is " for off road use only" in NYS.

The NYS inspection is supposed to be visually inspected for emissions also.
