Low beams out, high beams still work both sides

Hi,

Both low beams went out simultaneously, high beams still work. DRL doesn't work, of course. What should I check first?

Blown bulbs?

Sure one bulb wasn't already out and you didn't notice, then when the other did go out all went dark one night? Have you replaced the bulbs? If they both work then, I wouldn't loose to much sleep over it.

I had a similar prpblem when I was trying different after-market high-power bulbs. On 2 different makes, the actual filiment (sp?) broke on the driver's side light due to excessive jarring from the lowered suspension. If you replaced the bulbs to get more light, that's your problem and it'll keep happening.
