Noticed today that VAG-COM changes are key fob specific

Some punk ripped my fuel door off, leaving just hinges. Picked it up today from body shop, and noticed that the spare key fob (the full electronic one) had reverted to the original settings (ie, DRL on, horn honk upon locking, etc).

Just FYi...I had thought the vagcom was at a more root level.....

So when i tried my regular fob, all good again.

This may be only for changes that can be adjusted through the MFI.

I would expect other changes to be at more of a deeper level.
