SOLD!!!
I have (2) 2000 Beetles for sale. Located near Green Bay, WI. Neither run, burned the starters out on both of them trying to diagnose the issues.
Silver one is an automatic. 230k. Fairly rust free. 2.5" race downpipe. 3" stainless exhaust. Manual injectors. This was my daily driver for a couple years. I'm pretty sure the injection pump is bad. It was having difficulties holding a prime for awhile. It ran when I dumped fuel down the intake, then the starter died.
Red one is a manual. 266k. It's got some rust. This one just showed up in the yard, and I don't want to stick a bunch of time and money into it. Previous owner changed the fuel filter and car wouldn't start afterwards. I bled the system and fuel was getting to the injectors before the starter gave up. I think it's got some electrical issues, makes a bunch of noises like the doors are trying to lock or something when you turn the key on and when you pull it out.
