OK, NE/tri-state folx, call Jeff Griffen @ Executive VW in North Haven CT
(203) 281-0481

He will have car u want, on the flatbed, heading back from those lots of no return, in no time flat.

Just as guidance, I am paying about $8K less than BB value for that cfg/mileage

I hope they service these vehicles and check them out before selling them. A lot of people knew they'd be returning their cars so they didn't maintain them.

related to that is an interesting question.

Which is better - a car that sat w/o moving under a scorching sun in a lot somewhere, for close to 2 years, but only has 100 miles on it.

Or, one that was owned, driven, may be garage kept and cared for, had its gremlins surface and addressed, but with say 20K on it ? :)

Sitting normally doesn't hurt them- lots of my friends were in the service from 1995 to just recently retired and lots of them had cars sitting for 4 years plus while deployed, they would get off the plane- take a taxy to wherever they had them hidden, put the neg cable on- pay the cab driver a few extra's for a jump turn the key and burn rubber :D

Used 2015 TDI

So, took my 2013 Passat TDI with 6spd manual in for servicing at 82,000 miles and ended up buying a used 2015 Passat TDI with 6spd manual and 27,000 miles. It cost me my 2013 and $3,000 to get the newer car which saves me the cost of new tires (new one will have new Michelins), extended warranty, no broken windshield and the body is perfect unlike the 2013. Overall, a pretty good deal.

Lucky you if it is Michelin tires. I bought my 2015 Passat Highline (SEL) last year and I got crappy OEM Hancook tires !
Maybe the USA gets better tires than Canada !

We ended up with Contis, while other people love them they are crazy loud compared to our Nokians enTyre 2.0 with 20K on the 2012.

Our 2012 will be about 7K out of pocket to upgrade to the 2015 once the buy back is complete.

After buy back my 2010 was about 17K to go to the Alltrack.

But hey debt free!

I am sporting Nokians (Made in Russia) on me '12. A guy at the factory actually tweeted me a pic of them being manufactured :)

Under 10K on them.

Much like you, hoping to keep them, same exact rims as on my CPO '15 - that one came with Hancooks, also under 10K.
