Hi all

Just looking for advise on my next step of tune.

Running a second A5 2260vk and was going to freshen it up with a bearing and seal mellett rebuild. Just was thinking of stepping up to a 2565 with gen 2 compressor? I know I'd have to get my housings profiled but it would be a good time to do it.

Turbo OK at the moment but not sure on the history. Not smoky and holds boost well.

Can't afford a Darkside 2872 which would be the icing on the cake.

What are the pros and cons. Looking for a nice 320-330hp once i covert to bkd ecu 120% injectors (current bmn Siemens)

What are the flaws with 2260vk hybrids, wheel matching and extended tips etc? Is there a ideal ratio between size or turbine and compressor?

Any one had good results?

Maybe look up Adam Davidson at Pioneering Performance. He may have some options for you.

Nice one

Never heard off them work looks impressive!

Like the idea of 2369 option.

Great they do custom casting of manifolds. If I knew they did this before going down the Tubular route.

Happy with my manifold but a headache to fit my 2260vk!

I'll send them a message.

Much appreciated

Ben

Thanks for that?

Is the tw off a c30 merc?

I thought these were 49/51?

69! Not too big?

I have an audi exhaust housing. I've heard a vklr can be fitted after machining.

How different are vklr to vk regarding spool?

Was thinking of 46/51 BMW tw with a 6+6 47/64/66 cw?

I do want to break 350 hp eventually but want something I can run 2.3 to 2.5 bar to start with.

Bmw tw is 4650
I ran 2.7 2.8 bar boost on 2263 with 9 blade high flow turbine wheel 46/50mm
vklr 2565 was not better than the jb 2565vk, no difference in spool for me at least, and when i look at dyno charts i dont see the advantage in spool people
