Finally got a chance to get a little bit of stuff done on it I changed my plans a bit I'm doing arp mains and rod bolts the main studs had to be shortened to bed and I had to make Precision ground tool steel spacers. Now I can reassemble most of the bottom end.

The camshafts have been removed from the cylinder head and I am working on making Billet cams for it I'm still uncertain of the exact details but the original cams don't have enough Base circle for my goals. I also will maybe require valve reliefs in the Pistons but I'm still uncertain of my lift and duration.

I'm also working on getting my Duramax R110 pump mounted and I'm looking for Solutions for higher flowing injectors nozzles .

The duramax r110 sounds nice but there are other options we are taking in consideration.
I dont think there is space for the 110 pump

Yes your right the r110 is considerably bigger in size which is a good thing

my build is very modified so i dont think il have issues with fitment

the good thing with these engines is you can freely choose the drive ratio of the pump, so even with a smaller pump you could more torque than you would be able on the gen2 3.0 with the chain drive.

What is power expectation upon this project?

And in your opinion, how much power you think the stock engine can handle without breaking into pieces?

Not exactly sure on hp goal hopefully 500+whp i dont get optimistic i just build it and see what story the dyno tells as for breaking into pieces someone has to be the guinea pig

So I have a chance to get my hands on an S366 new/used for cheap what are your guys thoughts on that compressor mated to my turbine? Too big ? Surge ?

Plenty compressor. 57/76 is already pretty surge one below 3k. but I think all depends on what you are looking for.

So i have i have been working on this project lately the engine will soon be in the car i have i question for the experts i have a cp3 r110 from cummins 6.7 is it worth running this for my 500+hp goals or should i stick with cpe r90 tdi pump ????

Take r110 and make a bracket so it runs w multi V belt.. will have market i bet

R90 is on its knees at 500hp - as above take the r110 run it off the crank.
Make two kits I’ll take the second one ?

Have you tried putting the R110 in the place of the R90? Is it way too big to fit?? I havent tried fitting it as its beyond my needs on the 3.0

Finally got a chance to make some progress the CP3 r110 is mounted ended up using the coolant port as an extra support reference pretty soon the engine will be fully assembled I will continue with a high pressure line and belt
