FS 1999.5 MKIV Jetta TDI with a 2002 motor Ava, MO $3,500
Car has 168,000 on odometer, motor replaced in 2004 with 69,000 miles on it. 2002 motor had 42,000 when it was installed, motor should now be around 142,000. TB change done about 30,000 miles ago at a GTG at Old Navy’s. Motor and transmission both in good condition. Oil pan has leak from patch after I hit a rock in my driveway.
Exterior of car in ok condition, dents and dings hear and there. Clear coat is peeling and paint is fading but otherwise no major rust issues.
Interior headliner replaced with a new one from dealership when they were running a sale but grab handle holes don’t line up exactly. Vents started blowing foam bits a few years ago. Hasn’t been fixed yet. Driver seat has large wear spot and carpet under the right heel near the accelerator pedal has hole.
Front suspension will need work, control arm bushings need to be replaced. Not sure about the rest of the components. Struts and tie rods were replaced about 10,000 miles ago. Does need a good vacuuming inside. Full album of pictures here
