Did you pre-fill the new fuel filter with diesel before you installed it?

If not, run 5-10 cycles of "key ON, count to five, key OFF" to attempt a self-prime.

Was the car started on gasoline, or did you figure it out before starting?

i had it running on gasoline and it was running poorly and bogging out once revved up a little, then that same day i shut it off and it wouldnt start anymore so i started fooling around and took the the fuel line of the fuel filter and i could smell right away that there was gas in it so i cleaned it all like i mentioned before and now it wont start
