Post Frequently asked for part numbers

Here's a quick find & part #'s to a couple of known relays that have been problems for our cars. Can we start a sticky for part #'s for some of the more common parts? I wasn't sure if it would be good spot in this thread due to this being more of a "how to" thread.

Relay 219 - Power relay
Part #443951253AA
http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?t=266230

Relay 384 - Air Conditioning relay
Part #8D0919578A
http://forums.tdiclub.com/showthread.php?t=216493

5V Steel Glow Plug
Part #N10591607

Motor mounts:
8D0199379AR
8D0199382AR

Viscus coupling fan bearing

I will leave that to MOGolf, very good idea though.

Here is one I'd like to see in that thread:

078-129-797 'clamp'

This is one of the 4 air cleaner lid clips that seem to be missing on a lot of B5s that come in here .

Default Frequently asked for part numbers

This thread is for posting known part numbers, not for asking "What is the p/n of ...". Use the "Search this thread" function to find part numbers for the part.

Bear in mind that part numbers are subject to change at any time. However, using an old part number at a good part supplier may get you the current part number if they have a cross reference. I've also experienced using a correct part number and the supplier cross referenced to a wrong part number. You have been warned. Use the information at your own risk.

If you have the ability to post the part number and a picture of the part, please do so. Obscure parts like connectors and wiring/hose retainers are good candidates for this.

I'll do a brain dump myself as time permits. I've got "a million of 'em" in my head. I might have ordered too many parts over the years.

3B1-819-425-B41 "cap"

This is the little black cap that covers one of the ECU cover's screws, the access hole in the lower windshield trim. These like to suddenly pop off and disappear into the bowels of the engine. Been doing a LOT of RC upgrades lately, and have to have a few on hand "just in case"

Please forgive the dumb question but..
Shouldn't you guys be listing the engine codes with your part no.s

Surely not all B5 TDI's are the same?

All of the parts listed are for the North American B5.5 Passat TDI. Yes, we only have the one engine code: BHW

Default NGK Ceramic Glow Plugs

The NGK branded ceramic glow plug for the "2nd VW Fix (2010)" for remedying cold start issues. Plug contains metal sheathing along part of the ceramic element.

This GP will work with the original 7-volt programming but a re-flash at the dealer is recommended (required if 5-volt steel glow plugs were installed in the first VW attempt to fix cold start issues)

Nope, but all ours are. This thread is really just for the 2004/2005 BHW cars.

Seal material for cabin filter housing (replaced under a TSB):

AKD 497 010 04 NAR

It's about $10 for a length of this that will do 3 cars.

Charge air tubing seals:

3C0-145-117 (the smaller one)
3C0-145-117-F (larger one)

Smaller one is only at the turbo outlet, the larger ones are everywhere else.
