Bi-Xenon AFS Retrofit?

I just snagged a new '15 Golf TDI SEL.
It only lacks the Bi-Xenon Adaptive Light Option.
My T'reg has those & I really like them.
I'm wondering if I can retrofit them or if it's a more complicated hardware /software issue that makes that impossible.
My tech friend says it can't be done but I'm wondering ?????????

it depends if the BCM on the car allows for it or not. You may have to upgrade the BCM to a version that supports it
