Will 15" wheels fit a '12 JSW TDI? I searched, & found out they will fit a Jetta sedan, but I don't know if the TDI Sportwagen has bigger brakes, or something. Ordering winter tires, & thought I should check.

Well, crap. 16" tires are $120 more, and I can get 15" steel wheels very cheap. I had a jeep that could use 15" steel wheels, but not alloys, because the inner diameter was smaller than on the steelies. Might that be the case here, or am I just stuck?

Rotor sizes are rotor sizes-the JSW utilizes that same, larger sized rotors as the GTI (whereas the Golf/Golf TDI are smaller), so no way to get around it

Go look at your spare tire that should give you the answer you want.

having said that, no, 16's are min requirement.

to the OP: you need 16" min,

and to the above, thats not always true. my g/f has '07 Rabbit and her spare is 16" however i just put my 15" winter set on her car and sent her of to Colorado.

Just test-fitted 15" B5 steelies onto a 2.5 liter 2009 Sportwagen. Perfect fit, no clearance issues with the brakes. Brake disks and pads are brand new, so the caliper is as far out as it will ever get...
