I got a donor rear door for my 03 mk4. The donor was an 01. The older door has 2 connectors where the 03 had only one. So bottom line is the door doesn't unlock and the window stays powered all the time. I guess the best fix is to swap out all the guts? Didn't think they'd change things like that form year to year.

There's a ton of differences electronically speaking from 01 to 02 and on. The programmability with vcds is amazing on the later models. I'm stuck with a 2000 and a 2001 for now
