Hose popped off!!

One of my hoses has popped off. I think its the connecting pipe b/t the intercooler and intake manifold, (Has # 2 on it). The retaining tab looks a bit damaged and won't allow it to lock into place.

So, is this a big deal to replace (i'm going to guess not), and is it normal to have some oil and a bit of gunk inside ??

This is normal for a car with a PD engine, and has happened to many of us. It's a poor design. The replacement costs about $100. To prevent it from happening again, buy one of these:

not harad to change at all, is this the one you're talking about that connects to the EGR

Looks like a simple fix. Cost is $140

plus $30 install. CRAZY
I'll do it myself.

Can be fixed for less than $5. I thought of solution and LEW fine tuned it! Don't spend anything more than $5! I came up with solution and LEW fine tuned it!
