Hydraulic Clutch Line Leak at Slave

2005.5, 2005.5, and 2006. 5m, 5m, and DSG.
So my wife's car developed a hydraulic leak at the joint where the hard line goes into the slave cylinder. I don't want to spend $80 on a new line for a silly leak but the rubber seal appears to be integrated into the connection that you stick into the slave and unfortunately it isn't an o-ring.

I'm brainstorming for ideas on how to stop the leak.

BTW it developed the leak because the previous owners mechanic didn't bolt the bracket that holds the hard line to the transmission when he replaced the clutch. So I am missing that bolt as well...
