When I pull up or step on the acceleration pedal during the drive, in any gear, car goes to the right... what's wrong?

I'd begin by inspecting the control arm bushings. Probably the rear bushings on the front.

Yup, and when this happens you might want to consider refreshing all the bushings on the control arm and at the top of the strut... they tend to wear out together, you're gonna have the whole thing apart anyways, and the car will steer like new once your done. And the parts are cheap. ;) :)

It's impossible, the control arm bushings (rear and front) have only 1200 miles! Struts and bearings too! Sigh... :(

new parts dont mean something isn't right. a bolt might have broken on the control arm.
When the engine changes RPM it puts a rotational torque on the engine in a lateral moment of movement. This is known as torque steer. If you have any issue what so ever with a sloppy suspension tracking system, it will pull the car.

I highly suspect that there is a busted control arm bolt, Bent or damaged strut tower bearing int he bushing, rotted out strut tower (very common) or the bolts on the lower ball join have not been torqued properly and are sloppy, steering rack slop (inner/outer tie rods to be suspect if sloppy steering.

Bottom line, either your Diff in the trans is completely FUBAR or you have a issue with your suspension leading components.

ALso check your breaks that they are floating properly, a stuck set of pins could drag one side constantly.

ALso check your wheel studs! i have had a similar issue and the studs kept backing out.

OK, next suspect: tie rods. :) Then ball joints.

Something in the front end is worn enough that the geometry is shifting under torque.

And swaybar links. I've seen people forget to connect them or install them correctly and it'll cause the car to torque steer like you mentioned.

But in any case, it doesn't hurt to double check everything.

And does the car steer normally otherwise? No forklift type feeling or wandering?

Thanks guys... no Abacus, it runs ok.
P.S. I forgot to mention: when I move from the parking place and turn the steer.wheel left or right while manoeuvring, I hear a sound like something is snapping under the front end... It started two weeks ago. No snapping sound during the ride.

Easy check is to pop the tie rod end out of the knuckle and pull back and forth to dedect play. Worn tie rod ends, (particularly inner) will definitely do this. With the noises you describe, I would get this figured out because it's a real safety ssue.

Before I changed rear control arm bushings, I had the same snap sound for some three weeks... after changing them (and front ones), the sound disappeared, until two weeks ago.

upper strut tower bushings, had the same issue. i hit a pot hole and then into a curb and it bent the bearing position in the bushing. I would start there for the snapping sound.

do a visual, id check those control arm bushings, you can see some of the rear(front). i had a new set, they went bad over(last)a summer, had to re-do them, and get re-aligned, among other things. that and the rest of your suspension, as other posters have mentioned, whether sway bar, tie rod ends, ball joints?? jack up and see, pull tires off and i think in the book(manual) theres some tests, maybe can be done with an pry bar/engine bar. i think that one done with a pry bar is check to the ball joints.

Snapping noise really sounds like a strut bearing but then I've also had some strange noises off dried out ball joints so definitely worth checking them.

Also worth checking the tyres and alignment, non matching tyres or one slightly low on pressure or uneven wear.

I'd also check there's not a sticky brake calliper.

Doesn't mean it's not possible... I had strut mounts (all 4) only last 4-5k miles on a jetta wagon last year. I was not happy having to replace them.

Thank you to everyone! I know that I have to check the suspension asap, but have no time off! At all! Once I get time off I'll check it out.

Vehicle front suspension completely inspected, EVERYTHING is on its place and in good condition!... and now? The next thing I'll try is to make a new wheel alignment, so we'll see... (sigh).

before you put on an align rack for 1, being the cost, are you sure all parts checked out a-ok? nows the time to be sure. another thing, im just supposing here, cheap parts, even with a good alignment may cause problems(like this), checking cap bearings may not tell you problems, i dont think theres a real visual. they may be the culprit. then again it may be the alignment, i had an ok shop do an align, wasnt cheap, and as a shop i rate about ok as far as what they do on the rack, didnt drive as straight as some of the specialists i know, yet they are not-as-cheapier, that an under statement, they do cost a good sum(some). new tires(all 4 is prefered) can be a good idea, another thing you can do is have 4new good rubbers on/if you have another set of rims, get aligned in new set, and switch back to used set. at least when on the rack it can be aligned 'closer'.
