Golf R steering wheel in my GSW

Hi all,

I’ve tried doing a search but am not seeing anything relating to what I’m doing with my GSW.

I have a 2015 Sportwagen TDI SEL with DSG and bought a brand new Mk7 Golf R DSG steering wheel.

The Golf R steering wheel has a coucple extra buttons compared to my original SEL MFSW.

I put it in today and everything works except cruise control and the glow plug light keeps flashing.

I’m guessing I’ll need to code my car with VCDS but I don’t have access to VCDS right now, the only other idea is to see if I can swap PCB switch boards from my original SEL MFSW over to the Gofl R steering wheel including the blank button for to replace the adaptive cruise button on the R MFSW.

Any input greatly appreciated!
