Hello,
I just changed the intercooler in my TDI 2000 Beetle. After taking a test drive I notice the car wasn't the same. I could no longer hear the turbo and the car seems like it chokes a little before it reacts and accelerates. The turbo seems to work but can't hear it.
Is there some calibration that is necessary in order to get the correct air pressure? And will I ruin the engine or turbo if I drive the car any further?
Could it be that World impex sent me the wrong part and I am using a gasoline intercooler or are they the same. Sorry for my ignorance i have no clue if there is a difference.

Thanks any helpful advice

P.
