Golf versatility

I just thought that I would share a bit on how versatile I've found my 2000 Golf to be. After buying my car new in January, I've been putting some miles on it, to the tune of about 32,500. I've driven all over the southeast, with Nashville as a homebase. I've made two moves with it, stuffed to the max from Nashville to Pensacola and Pensacola to Corpus Christi. On the second move I had nearly 800 lbs of my assorted stuff. I've also driven from Pensacola to San Francisco, with two friends who were moving there. We made it in pretty good comfort, with excellent scenery. We drove up US 1 in California, blasting some Metallica w/the San Francisco Symphony, which made for an awesome drive in the twisties. This car has let me do pretty much anything I would like, all in a fuel sipping manner. In fact, I think I would be broke if I were in any other car.
If you are thinking about a Golf, I highly recommend it.
