Manufacturing date and issues

Not sure if the manufacturing date is related to the issues,
my DSG TDI was manufactured in September 2011, the only problem I have is can't fill full tank, so far 400 miles

Do you mean that after pumping diesel your fuel guage doesn't read full?

I found the same problem on my first fill up (and the fill up from the dealer After the pump suto shuts off you need to let the foam settle and then top off. I found that the Stanadyne addative also help to reduce the foam.

YES, the gauge doesn't read full, dealer told me the issue, i found some people has the issues, others don't, not sure if related to the manufacturing date

Thanks a lot, I have been reading the threats a lot, however some people has no issues at all, others have lots issues, just trying if it's related to the manufacturing date
