Hey all.

I have a VW Jetta Tdi 99.5 214 000 miles on it.

I was driving the other day, 80 mph, when all a sudden, the car lose's pwr,
like the fuel line was pinched. (plenty of fuel in the tank)

Now, the problem is, the engine is becoming noisy, and above 2000 rpm's the car doesn't want to take the fuel/accelerate.

Car starts up fine.

also, it really is struggling on hills, flat land im ok.

I Love this car, I want to fix it.

I will change out the fuel filter asap, kinda slipped my mind tbh.
Could the fuel pump injector be going, or if its broke, does the car not work?

This sounds like a turbocharger problem to me. Either the turbocharger itself, the air ducting, or the turbo control systems (vacuum lines, N75 valve, etc).

Check all of the pipes and hoses in the charge air path as well as all of the vacuum lines, then report back.

Rare occasion cat will clog.
No tube in your ECU.
If extra engine noise is coming from the fuel pump, it could be shot.
Otherwise could be turbo/turbo controls.
Tough one to diagnose over this interweb thing.
