If you don't comply with their procedure , you're not getting the money...how dificult is that to understand?

The deal is that the current "burn" doesn't comply with federal standards and this is a method of getting a hold of your TDI to program a compliant "burn", otherwise they wouldn't require you to take your TDI in to activate the cards.
I really didn't intend to start a squabble. If you don't take your car in and get the free money, the only thing getting "burned" is you. Take it or leave it. Your choice.
