2015 Passat max offset?

Hey All,
i'm looking at putting audi wheels on my passat and i'm trying to figure out if 18 inch wheels that are ET29 will work or if they'll stick out too far.
Does anyone have any specific experience with this setup?
This is what willtheyfit.com says

The 18" bristol wheels are 18x8, ET48. I can't imagine using anything 18x8 ET38 or ET35. The bristols are pretty flush.

Whats the width of those audi wheels? Width and ET is really what you need to determine clearance and how much poke you'll have. 18x9 et29 is will clear the struts as well as a 18x8 et48 but poke out 38mm more which I think would be way to comical.

they're 8 or 8.5. There are a couple lovely models of wheel - all with the 29 offset

IMO I think 29 offset may be a bit too agressive and poke will too much. but it can't hurt to test mount and see for yourself.
