New 99 Golf

I've been in the forum for a few weeks and haven't gotten around to this yet.

I have a 1999 VW Golf GL TDI that I bought new in March 2000 at a bunch under invoice (about $1500 under). Its only option is an automatic transmission, which makes dealing with Pittsburgh traffic and hills easier.

It's Bright Green over Tan and will hopefully have Mille Miglia Spider alloys soon (as soon as my better half lets me get them).

Congratulations on your TDI and also your great website! I enjoyed it and appreciated the pictures. Your Golf looks great; green is one of the colors I have been thinking about when I get mine (just sent a son off to college, and cannot afford a new car right now). I also enjoyed your "best roads" section. My best friend from college days lives in Mt. Lebanon, and it would be great to drive a TDI out to see him.
