I just put a 98 AHU in my westy, and am having a hard time with one section of the wiring. The harness was chopped by a friend of mine and he cant remember anything :D and my bentley is hardly helping
here are a few photos:

its a 2t that is in the same loom as a brown 2t which i found. the blue however was found in the engine compartment and was pulled out.

anyone have any ideas?

This might help you. Check and see what color stripe that little blue stub on the connector has and see if it matches with anything in this list. Thats what I had to do when I went through my harness.

I’m thinking alternator wiring. I can visualize blue, down by the starter.

I took a look at an AHU harness today, and that is the alternator connector. The plug that is cut off is part of the alternator harness. It is only about 18" long and has the output lead and the two thin wires bundled together. There is a black two pin connector that plugs into the alternator.

Ditto what Todd and Alchemist said, it's the connection for the alternator extension harness, about 18" or so, the two blue connectors go together and are mounted down on a bracket that's mounted to the starter.
