Wasn't me, but I know of at least 5-6 other enthusiats that have TDi's in the buffalo area.

I personally have a 96 Passat TDi wagon, and am working on a 82 diesel Vanagon ALH conversion

were you the guy who bought the AC compressor off of me last year?

Percy.

Sold my Passat and now have a 2002 Jetta TDI.

I have a '98 Techno Blue NB TDI out here in North Tonawanda.

And we just saw a dark blue Jetta station wagon coming home from the Galleria.

Default I saw some for sale!

Didn't see any on road-but I saw 3 used ones @ VW of Orchard Park-one was a 2004 Passat TDI for $21995(people were taking for test drive),a 2001 Golf 4dr 101k for $11995-and that blue color 96 or 97 Passat w/133k-was sold and had temp. plate to go to Ohio.Salesman said they were asking $7500 for that one.I'll keep eyes out more closely next time in Buffalo area-there has got to be some TDI's around......

I watched the Buffalo area for months before I found mine. It was a little weird to go to Towne Ford (right across the street from VW of Orchard Park) to test-drive and buy my Jetta. I watched everyday online - eBay, craigslist, cars.com, autotrader and then I saw it listed in the BuffaloNews online. They had just barely gotten it listed and I called on it. Had to jump quick cuz I figured it would be gone if I waited for more than a couple days.

I did see an older woman driving one near where I work in the Sanborn area. It was identical to my Jetta but I think that one was an automatic since the acceleration looked so smooth.

Fuel Economy: Good?
Default 6speed being a deadbeat

Any of you guys know 6speed personaly?

He owes me $950 for an undelivered 5-speed transmission swap kit. I finally gave up waiting when my tranny could wait no more and got a local 5-speed.

It's been a real hassle trying to get a hold of him. I get the fealling he is just ignoring me and losha who he also owes $200 for a undelivered door.
When I do talk to him like 1 in a 100 calls, I think he just makes BS promises and travel excuses to send a check back. I actually told send a PayPal now, I need the money!

I would greatly appreciate it if one of you guy could squeeze a $950 check out of him and send it to me.

Here are the checks, I can also send his Buffalo address. I'm in california so its a real hassle to deal with the jerk.
