Uploaded 10/10 and still waiting on the review. I have a loan on the car (not through VW credit) so I'm sure that is causing the hold up.

Also I'm getting flooded with emails from my Dealer telling me how to file a claim, and to make sure to list them as a return location. LOL

There seems to be no rhyme or reason on the approval order. submitted docs 9/20.
Two of my docs were approved but the financial consent had to be re-sent. Resubmitted it on the 19th of Oct (same day they reviewed it and said I needed to resubmit a form), still waiting for it to be reviewed.

I wonder why they are not asking for proof of ownership on Sept 18th, 2015 or proof that you purchased after that date for the 50% thing.

They'll be able to figure that out. ex. The average person financed their car. They'll be able to go by the loan origination date for those people.

I wish they had a queue metric when you log in saying X number of claims ahead to be reviewed, currently worked on, and waiting for information back from lender.

That would reduce the anxiety and phone calls to the claims center.

On a side note. It looks like about a 4 week wait for review once submitted for cars with loans and two weeks for no loans.

The very first date you could possibly upload was Sept. 16.

9/16 then. My bad; I did it the same day we found out it was live. Is there some sort or reason why folks who uploaded 5 weeks ago are waiting, and folks who uploaded a few days ago are accepted? I don't get it.

Uploaded 2 vehicles on Sept 21. One has "documents complete" as of Oct 19. The other still shows documents "under review" as of Oct 28. Both are owned outright by a single owner (me). Documents all submitted at the same time.

I was notified of a problem with my documents along with the appropriate action to take. Unfortunately the web functionality is not there to follow the instructions! Called and the operator said "sorry, we don't know how to handle this". What a cluster....

resubmitting documents

I realized that due to a glitch in my computer, I did not submit one of the necessary documents. It now says that they are being reviewed. Is there a way to go in an re-upload the correct documents before I hear from them?

The so called document specialists are fooling around with the approvals....

Uploaded 9/17
1 out of 4 Docs rejected 10/12
Uploaded the corrected doc 10/12
Email from VW Claims that all docs approved on 10/28

The so called "10 BUSINESS DAYS" to send an offer starts now on 10/28

I don't know about you guys that are still waiting for docs to be approved, but I would be raising hell. Its a time crunch to get target dates for appointments after middle November hits.

Here's a thought. Could it have to do with being able to hire people for some dealerships. I know the person for my local dealership came into town toward the end of September for a visit and was going to return shortly thereafter to set up shop. In some cases maybe they had trouble filling the positions with qualified people or perhaps the hired individual showed up and quit. Hiring that many people in disparate locations and providing them with the infrastructure to make it happen could be a logistical nightmare.
I am hoping to receive my offer packet before next Tuesday. Time will tell.

That is something to consider for filling desperate positions. However, all the hype when the court pre-appoval went down in June was a big buzz that it would be finalized in October.......... that's June - October to go all haywire for filling positions. I'm not a HR person but maybe June - October is not enough time to fill positions to handle thousands of requests.

I dont think this should matter because you can change the dealership at any time, i think the document approval is coming from the settlement headquarters and not the individual dealer's tdi buyback hires. Who knows though... i just want my documents approved, im getting really impatient seeing people who submitted in october being approved when i submitted 9/18 and still nothing!

I would really like to know what method they are using to select which ones to look at.

Ten business days plus the additional 10 business days for the auditors puts it out to Thanksgiving week. It's going to be a long month! Fortunately, I don't have to do a lot of driving, and I'm trying to minimize even the little driving that I do until it's time to take it in.

I uploaded 9/25, accepted email/accepted via portal on 10/15, with 10/28 being "10 business days" I doubt I'll hear anything today.
